No matter how intensed anti-Cuba propaganda may be, the people of the world and particularly oppressed and exploited people in the United States, are inspired by the Cuban Revolution. That was apparent on September 8th at the Riverside Church in Harlem, New York City when an overflow crowd arrived to welcome Comandante Fidel Castro.

Fidel's speech analysed the spectrum of world events and attributed the increasing misery of the peoples of the world to the savagery of world capitalism. The thousands who came to hear him speak inside, as well as those outside Riverside Church who listened to his speach thanks to sound speakers placed on the street, seemed to have lifted the surroundings with emotions of solidarity when Fidel condemned the unjust imprisonment of Mumia Abu-Jamal and the Pentagon's continued bombardment of the Puerto Rican island of Vieques.

Long live Revolutionary Cuba!
U.S. Navy out of Vieques!
Free Mumia Abu-Jamal!
